MINI
Ahead of the London 2012 Olympics HamburyHird Design were appointed to design the new concept for MINI's flagship Park Lane showroom. The design responded to the architecture of the existing space, with exposed services and several structural columns, by using the aesthetic of a 'nightclub' as inspiration. This, coupled with the black interiors of the MINI brand and coloured neon light fittings, supported the creation of conceptual spaces such as a 'dance floor', 'bar' and 'VIP' area. The design had to also incorporate all the standard ' internal communication systems' as required by BMW brand guidelines for all MINI showrooms.
