The Blade

​

Redesign and Refurbishment of the iconic 14 storey Blade building in Reading. The scheme included the expansion and reorganisation of the ground floor reception area to facilitate a breakout area, business touch down zone and coffee point. The design also considered the occupied office areas and communal spaces such as open plan office areas and a refurbishment of WC’s on each floor. HamburyHird Design also was successful in securing planning permission for extensive alterations to the external facade.
